Leather Jackets… What’s that all about?

I have always wanted to wear leather jackets as it looks cool and classy. Leather jackets mostly have some sort of thermal lining sowed in between the fabric which usually retains heat making it unconventional in a tropical country such as Malaysia. Therefore, I never bought one until now. This black faux leather jacket is by Calliope, Woman fall/winter collection 2018. The fabric is fashionable and very comfortable. Previously I found myself reluctant to purchase one of these assuming it had no use.

Although, since I had bought this jacket I forced myself to discover a purpose for this jacket. To my surprise on the day of purchase, while being in a mall, this jacket came in handy due to the overwhelmingly air-conditioned atmosphere within the building. Before this, I always found myself in a mild shiver state while shopping or exploring malls in Malaysia. Having this jacket with me made me question myself how come I had never bought this in the two years I had lived here.

With the jacket, I decided to wear dark toned jeans by Forever 21. I prefer their jeans mostly because their jeans have a unique cut that fits a skinny girl like me. I matched it with rosy-brown chiffon shawl as I was going for a minimalistic casual look under the jacket. This look would not have been perfected without the cream top by MC Vogue.
