About Me

Hi, my name is Nuzha and I am a Lifestyle and Fashion Photographer from Maldives. Prior to being a photographer, I was an ambitious student with an absolute focus towards attaining job security in the corporate world.

 

Therefore, I majored in Human Resource Management and earned my Masters Degree in Finance. The shift from corporate to Photography was not a surprising change. Photography had always been in the background ever since I first got my own point-and-shoot.

 

However, my cultural background had pushed me towards academics and careers at corporate offices. I had forgotten the rush it gives me when I am able to control and capture a story and the feeling of empowerment I feel when I am able to tell the whole story with just a visual moment in time.

 

My curiosity for photography had slowly crept into my life during my time in university, where I got ample opportunities to horn my skills. I am a self-taught photographer. I have accrued many skills by working with experienced photographers on different projects.

 

My style of photography includes; stylised wedding photography, portrait photography, conceptual photography, fashion, and lifestyle photography. Apart from the above mentioned, I also do share a great deal of interest in digital creative design works.

 

I believe in pushing myself as far as possible to achieve my goals; to not settle in life, but to go as far as I can, to push the limits and to break free from the bonds of the ordinary. I love to experiment and explore unique opportunities. Today, my life compass is my Camera.
