Why did I switch from Canon to Sony?

With the advancement of new camera technologies, it is important for the camera manufacturers to think outside the box and listen to its consumers. I have been shooting with canon from the beginning of my career, starting with Canon 60D. Five years of shooting with Canon, I finally switched to Sony. Sony got my attention when they announced their Alpha a9 camera and since then I was considering the move. Currently, I am using Sony Alpha a7iii and Sony Alpha a7riii.
A lot of my Instagram followers have been asking me the reasons for this switch. So below are the main four reasons!

The continuous Eye Focus. Latest Sony Alpha cameras have this game-changing function where I can lock my focus on the subject’s eye and holds it as the camera and subject moves. Being a lifestyle and fashion photographer, the ability to lock on to the eyes and hold it like this is power!
The Dynamic Range in the Sony A7RIII is so good that I can take a super underexposed picture, and make it perfect with no grain at all. Also, it recovers overexposed images without any issues compared to the Canon 6D I used before.
Super lightweight. For a long time, I have been waiting for a small and lightweight camera body which can be fitted to my daily backpack, without compensating battery life!
More autofocus points.
Latest Sony cameras have more focus points compared to the most cameras out there right now. Therefore, the more focus points I have, the less risk of losing focus and I have more chances of capturing focused photos.
To conclude, I am not a camera reviewer or an expert in the technical area. However, my reasons are based on the Canon cameras that I have owned and used; which are Canon 60D, Canon 7D and Canon 6D, while the high-end Canon cameras will be different.
